As Desperate Housewives prepares to wrap up the Angie Bolen murder mystery, and most likely send Drea de Mateo packing after failing to click in the neighborhood, the ABC show is looking to cast Angie’s mother, described as a tough lady in her 50′s – 60′s who fights to protect her family.
Interestingly, the character’s name (for now) is Patty, which also happens to be the name of the actress the show had first hoped to cast for this role. Any idea whom I’m talking about?
Additionally, the show is searching for a hot little Russian number to play the role of Irena, a 25-year-old gold-digger who set her sights on one of the neighborhood boys. A Scavo twin perhaps? Or maybe the much sought-after Danny Bolen?
Not sure Patty would let Irena anywhere near her grandson.
